Baby Shoes and Booties: Ramen Noodle Baby Shoes Puts New Spin on Recycling

Monday April 14, 2008
Just when I thought I had seen everything, I come across baby shoes and booties made from Ramen Noodle packages on Etsy today. Now, don't get me wrong, these are cute, but in a novelty sort of way.

While I too enjoy Ramen Noodles now and again, I don't know that I would want my baby donning the brightly colored packages on its little feet, nor would I pay $20 to see it happen. That said, I'm also not a fan of any character shoe on the market, so I might be slightly jaded.

At any rate, if you have a penchant for baby shoes made from recycled materials, MojoTrashion's Etsy shop should be your next stop. Lucky for you, they have stuff for grown-ups too.

Don't care for Ramen? That's okay, the creator of the Ramen Noodle baby shoes has made them available in theCheetos and Animal Cracker variety as well.

I completely agree! I think it’s great to recycle/repurpose, but this is going a little too far…..I checked out the Etsy shop, and the little change purses are cute, but baby booties? Not for my kid!
