Timberland is known for its quality footwear; their sandals for baby boys are no exception.

Made as kid and parent friendly as possible, the Timberland summer line features velcro closures which make them easy to get on and off even the most active feet; Signature Splash Blaster protection ensures the sandals are water- and stain-resistant.

Choose from open-toe, beach-ready sandals starting at just under $20, or opt for a dressier, closed-toe fisherman style sandal for a little more. Featured here is the Timberland DL 24 sandal, in Green Camo.

Whatever style you choose, you can rest assured that Timberland is made of the highest quality and will last all summer long.

Ralph Lauren Layette 'Darrel' Sandal

Ralph Luaren has a baby line that is sheerly luxurious for infants.

Known for layettes made of cashmere, it should come as no surprise that the Darrel sandal is made of a soft and supple leather that is buttery soft to the touch.

And the folks at Ralph Lauren know that no two babies are quite the same. In recognition of that, they've given this sandal an adjustable ankle strap so you can be sure you've got the perfect fit, every time.

If you've got a more formal event to go to this summer, such as a wedding or a family reunion, this is the perfect sandal for a dressier outfit. Available at Nordstrom's, it comes in tan and is just $34.95

See Kai Run sandals were designed specifically for pre and new walkers; hip and comfy, these are perfect for any active baby boy.

Flexible rubber soles provide both flexibility and durability which is most important. Soft leather uppers are gentle on your baby's skin and are perfect for toddling those first few steps, or full-on dancing in the rain.

Velcro closures and padded collars ensure that these sandals stay put, even when your baby boy doesn't.

Available in a variety of styles, the Jackson sandal is pictured here. Reminiscent of the fisherman sandal, the style is both sophisticated and casual, all at the same time.

Umi Kids Bombo Sandal

Quirky is a name that is often used to describe the brand Umi; personally, I think all of their shoes are simply adorable.

Their summer line brings a very basic, loop and velcro closure, open-toed beach sandal to us. In several neutral toned colors, they will go with any outfit from khaki cargo shorts to a one-piece romper.

Umi is a European product, so it is important to remember that, when buying, you order 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than your baby boy normall wears.

If you're not a fan of the Bombo style, be sure to browse the others that are available; you'll likely find something that catches your eye.

GAP Infant and Baby Sandals

As a kid, you probably spent much of your time dressed in clothes from the GAP; still now, after all this time, they continue to press on and come up with great new stuff for adults and kids.

This summer, the GAP has rolled out an infant sandal line that is affordable, sensible, and best of all, cute.

Whether you need a soft canvas sandal for a newborn, or an open-toed, water-resistant variety for your new walker to toddle around in, the GAP has it for under $20. That's a price that you'll be hard pressed to beat in the world of infant footwear.

And as with everything the GAP does, their footwear is high-quality and cleans up well, just in case your adventurous little boy finds his way into some puddles after a summer shower.
