I recently made a trip to the mall with my two girls - and right in the middle of it, the baby had a blowout.
So, while my older daughter stayed at H & M to shop for a 5th grade graduation gift, I trekked to the family bathroom in the mall to change a diaper. And when I got her all undressed and dug in the diaper bag for a fresh change of clothes, I came up with a handful of newborn spares.
Too bad she's already wearing a size 6 months.
Fortunately for me, I was able to call my daughter at H & M and ask her to come down to the bathroom and get my debit card - it was her job to run back to the store and pick up some replacements. But what if she hadn't been with me? I would have had to drag Ella through the mall - naked except for her diaper - to buy new clothes for her.
