And what, exactly is UPF? The Ultraviolet Protection Factor.

Not the same as SPF, the UPF rating system was developed specifically for clothing and swimwear items. This rating factor helps consumers determine how much protection they can expect to receive from their garments; in this case, baby swimwear.

There are many retailers that are selling UPF rated baby clothes and swimwear, but two of the most comprehensive sites I've found are Baby Sun Protection and Alex & Me Co.

Each of the sites have an amazing selection of UPF rated baby swimwear for both girls and boys and the prices are great. Choose from hats, swim shirts, swim suits, and shorts.
