Organic Baby Onesies: Baby Greens Available at eConsciousMarket.com

Thursday April 3, 2008
Baby Greens One of the things I love the most about the Internet is the opportunity you have every single day to just "stumble upon" a new site. It's like roaming a new city every day.

Today was one of those days for me. I stumbled upon eConsciousMarket.com, a website devoted to making a difference. Yes, they sell organic clothing. And I know most of you remember that awhile back, I questioned whether buying organic was actually better for the environment than shopping at consignment stores or using hand-me-downs; after all, buying consignment means less waste, which is also good for the environment right?

But once I saw this onesie by Baby Green, I was instantly smitten. Their line is full of calm and soothing prints in blues, greens and yellows. But the "Nami" print stole my heart. The soothing blue color reminds me of the beach; how fitting then that "Nami" means "wave."

But it's not just "Nami" that's so great. Their entire line is inspired by cultural representations of nature, in an effort to further connect people and nature. Japanese-inspired designs are hand-printed on 100% organic cotton with water-based inks. Available 3-18 months as a onesie, 18-24 months as a t-shirt.

Even better, if you're a parent that likes your baby to be truly original, you'll be happy to know that, since each of the items in the Baby Greens line is hand-printed, each one is slightly different.

Head over to eConsciousMarket.com and check out the line. But beware, Baby Greens will have you at hello.
