Region Kidz: Trendy Infant and Baby T-shirts Celebrating Diversity

Sunday July 20, 2008
Region Kidz Armed Forces T-ShirtThe baby t-shirts coming out of Phoenix-based Region Kidz are just too cute.

T-shirts featuring hand-sketched, black and white caricatures of children from all different ethnic backgrounds are available from this relatively new, online boutique. Asian, African-American, Hispanic, or Caucasian children are drawn in a variety of scenes or occupations, ranging from beaches to cowboys.

Parents serving in the Armed Forces should be smitten with the drawing shown, but don't fret if you aren't currently enlisted. Region Kidz offers shirts for baseball fans, firefighters, fans of urban life, and super hero's or princesses, as well as many others.

Choose from 4 t-shirt colors, whether you want a boy or girl depicted, ethnicity and design. Then, just wait for it to arrive in the mail. The other thing I'm loving about this totally unique line is that it's very affordable at just $15, and it's made in the U.S.

Head over to Region Kidz now to score your very own, super cute and trendy, diverse t-shirt.

Baby Clothes: Friday's Fab Find

Friday July 11, 2008
Wolf + Rabbit Bibi RomperSo I spend a lot of time on the Internet; after all, it's my job to hunt up cool digs for the babes of the world.

And today I'm loving this sweet as can be Bibi Romper by Wolf+Rabbit. Designed by a husband/wife team straight out of Montreal, they aim to create hip and beautiful clothing for infants and toddlers.

None of their items are massed produced, they donate to charity, and they screen print and stencil by hand! What more could you ask for?

Oh, a little more Wolf+Rabbit? Let me help you out with that.

Sweet Grace Baby Art: Personalize the new baby's room with a unique hand-painted piece, designed around their nursery theme.
Tuni and G Onesie: I love Tuni and G! Their unique baby clothes are simply to die for. This onesie happens to be the celeb favorite, "got my mind on my mommy and my mommy on my mind."
Finally, Pink Plaid Eco Friendly Diaper Cake:Totally adorable, this diaper cake includes 55-60 disposable diapers from Seventh Generation as well as Baby Avalon organic cornstarch baby powder; so, so cute!

Ok, so I know this wasn't totally about baby clothes, BUT, how could I resist passing on such an awesome deal? The way I see it, shopping for all those really cute baby clothes is hard work; it should be rewarded accordingly. Good Luck!

Infant & Baby Shoes: Morgan & Milo Get It Right

Tuesday June 24, 2008
Morgan & Milo Infant Darryn T-Strap ShoeAfter many comments on the high heel crib shoes by Heelarious, it was decided that my original take on them was pretty accurate. In general, most people found them to be absolutely ridiculous.

So, I thought it only fair to bring a much cuter option to the table for all those baby girl's out there. These are sensible and simply adorable. Sparkly, flat soled, and not a leopard print in sight - thank goodness!

Morgan & Milo Sparkly ShoeYou can grab all their great styles direct from their website; although they have a limited choice when it comes to infant shoes, the style they have are super-cute. And, kids always need shoes, right? In fact, sometimes, it seems like they're feet just never stop growing at all!

Infant and Baby Shoes :: Has Heelarious Gone Too Far?

Thursday June 19, 2008
Heelarious Crib ShoesSo, last night, I was surfing the 'net.....I know, imagine.

But then I stumbled upon these shoes, and it got me thinking; how far is "too far" when it comes to dressing babies like mini-me's of their mommas? I mean, couture designers are tripping all over themselves to churn out pint-sized clothing line so parents and babies can be dressed alike, but are shoes necessary?

It seems to me that Heelarious has gone just a little too far. Yes, the shoes are cute, but in a weird sort of way, don't you think?

Just to be sure I wasn't being a total old hag though, I called my daughter in to my office and had her take a look. At first, she was excited because she thought they were for the pre-tween set, but when I told her they were for infants, she replied, "Um, yeah, that's just disturbing."

So, I'm anxious to hear what you all think. Disturbing? Or cute? Weigh in below.
